The history of Kleine Zalze dates back to 1683, when Nicolaas Cleef settled on the banks of the Blaauwklippen River and began cultivating the land. Today, Kleine Zalze Wines is a modern, proudly Stellenbosch-based premium wine estate, producing honest, authentic wines for both the local and global market.

Still located on the banks of the Blaauwklippen River, we remain deeply mindful of our environmental impact, as well as our role within the broader community.
